My Prayer


Each day when I awake,
I say a little prayer,
For I know that God will listen,
He is always there.

He is the only friend I have,
in whom I put my trust,
The only one I can confide in
When the going gets really tough.

For He listens to my every word
And guides me through each day.
I know that He won't desert me
He's a friend thats here to stay.
